Designated Entry Points for eVisa
Protected & Restricted Areas: The India eVisa is not valid for visiting Protected/Restricted and Cantonment Areas. Prior permission from the Civil Authority is required for travel to such areas.

How long is my eVisa valid for?
Your India eVisa is typically valid for 1 year from the date of issue. You can enter India multiple times within this period (depending on your visa type), but each stay is usually limited to 90 days or 180 days depending on the category you applied for.
How long does eVisa processing take?
Regular processing is typically 3 to 4 working days, and Express processing is available within 48 hours. Processing times are calculated from the date of submission with complete documentation.
What documents do I need to apply?

How do I know if my eVisa is approved?
Once approved, you will receive your eVisa by email with your visa number and a PDF document. You must present this email and PDF upon arrival in India. We recommend taking a screenshot and saving it to your phone as backup.
